The Biffin Coat in a Limited Edition silky wool mix Brocade.
 
The Biffin is one of the most shaped and tailored of our coats. It has neatly tailored shoulders and a structure that mirrors the traditional hourglass shape.
 
Generous full length sleeves are slitted at the wrist and have deep internal hems, allowing the wearer to fold-back the cuff elegantly. It has two hidden seam pockets and is designed to be worn low on the calf. 

When closed, the two front panels of the coat should be able to meet without either straining at the rear or overlapping at the front; the two front edges can be held together to keep the coat closed with any of our closures.
 
Collar
 
The coat can be ordered with a simple round collar as shown in the photographs, with a Mandarin Collar or a Nehru Collar.
 
Fabric
 
This is a superb mid-weight brocade – with a wool base it has a silky overweave – eyecatching, unusual and elegant – making for a superb mid-weight coat.
 
Body Type
 
Flattering for all sizes, the Biffin is designed with the smaller busted and striaghter / more athletic frame in mind. Should you have a curvier or fuller frame, we  have a limited amount of this fabric, but shoudl be able to make this up in the Vasey Style. Do get in touch if you are interested.
 
Linings
 
Lined in Silver Silk lining with an Powder Blue satin trim.
