bespoke sizing
If you don't think our house sizes will do for you, please don't worry.
We can produce coats to longer or shorter lengths and with different bust, waist, shoulder, hip and arm measurements. Please contact us at info@ednerat.com. Indicate which model, fabric and size you are interested in, and which measurements you might need adapting. We will respond as swiftly as possible confirming whether we have sufficient fabric in stock to fulfil your order; we will then price it, and start making it if we can. If we don't have – and can't obtain – a sufficient amount of your chosen fabric, we will seek to source you an alternative.
As with all adjustments to our house sizes and styles, once the necessary alterations are agreed we will let you know the costs involved. If you are happy to proceed we will then send you an invoice. We will request payment in full prior to cutting and making your coat. Making payment constitutes you placing an order with us. Please be aware that bespoke and modified coats cannot be returned.
fittings
If you aren't sure whether a style will work for you or which size will fit you best, we have several different options. You are always welcome to make an appointment to visit us at home in mid-Wales where we hold stock in several different sizes and styles. Use our toile service. For a £100 fee, refundable against your first order, we will ship you out a toile in the size and style of your choice along with your selected fabric swatches and a return postage label. The toile is made up in the traditional calico used for fittings and we recommend that you book in a call with us while you have it, in case of any doubts on the ultimate size and fit. You have five days to try on the calico toile before returning it to us using the Royal Mail shipping label provided.

style modifications
As standard, many EdNerat coats have bracelet-length sleeves allowing you to type, draw, write and eat – or just to display a cuff or bracelet while wearing them. If you prefer longer or shorter sleeves, just let us know.
Many of our coat patterns can be adjusted in other ways – with or without pockets, with different neck treatments, fabrics, linings, internal trims and more.

We hope you will enjoy your coat for years to come but we recognise that accidents can happen, and shapes change. To get the most from your EdNerat coat, we offer a repair service, and – within the realms of what is possible and what the fabric allows for – we can adjust your coat if you want or need to adapt it.

fabric sourcing
We offer a heap of different fabrics in a wealth of weights, textures and colours. Even so, if you are trying to find an exact match to something you have, you might not see exactly what you are looking for. Do please get in touch with us if so, and we will do our best to source it. We source our silk matkas from three different suppliers and can secure short lengths in a huge array of different shades, allowing you to get an exact match to pretty much any colour you need.
Our limitations on sourcing all our other fabrics is that we will only source fabrics made in Britain; within that, the possibilities are endless.

lining replacement
With use, coat linings will go, but that doesn’t have to mean the end of coats' lives!
To help make sure that you get all the life you can out of your EdNerat coat, we offer a lining replacement service that we provide at cost.
If you would like a lining replaced, please contact us advising us which coat you have purchased and we will confirm the cost of the lining replacement by return. Please indicate whether you will be supplying your own fabric or, if you would like to use one of our silk linings, please advise us what colour lining you would prefer.
