Our Trapeze Coats are the easiest and simplest in our collection; narrow at the shoulder, widening towards the hem, and cut to a shorter length. They skim the body rather than fitting it, with room to move and nothing to fuss over —coats you reach for without thinking.

We make our Trapezes in three styles: one with a fuller, swingier line, and two more moderate, for those who want the shape without the volume. All three are forgiving across a range of frames, and work as well outdoors as they do around the office.

The styles' clean lines suit a range of cloths – pretty much all of them except for our thicker tweeds. Choose a structured brocade and create a dramatically shaped coat, or plump for something softer and you will have a beautifully draping garment. Either way, we will line it in your choice of coloured silk and satin trim.
