Belts & Closures

Most of our coats are offered without closures attached, allowing you to choose where and how and if you would like to close your coat. Each of us will have different preferences on this – and of course the height and positioning of each closure will depend on each wearer.

If you would like to order a closure or belt to go with your coat, please drop us a note at the time of ordering. Our belts are ordered by length, and if we don't have your chosen length to hand, it can generally be made and dispatched within three weeks.

Hooks & Eyes

We have scoured high and low and are delighted to offer these wonderfully robust hooks & eyes.

Brass Hooks & Eyes

  • These are intended to be sewn inside the front of the coat.

    They can be ordered in -

    Gold, Silver & Gunmetal Black.

    £5.00 each.

Leather Hooks & Eyes

  • These are intended to be sewn inside the front of the coat.

    Subject to stocks, they can be ordered in two sizes and in - Orange, Brown, Cream & Black.

    £30.00 each.

Fabric Belts

These belts are made to order. They are made in the same fabric as your coat, and cut to your chosen length. Our belts can be ordered with or without leather sliders.

Self Fabric Belt

  • 5cm wide belts, made from the same fabric as your coat.

    We strongly advise ordering your belt at the time of ordering your coat.

Leather Slider Self Fabric Belt

  • Our Self-Fabric belts can also be ordered with Brown and Black Nappa Leather pass-through Sliders.

    We strongly advise ordering your belt at the time of ordering your coat.

Handmade Saddle Leather Belts

Our belts are made by hand in Herefordshire by an expert Saddler.

Designed together with Emma Baker-Jones of ESB Leather these belts are a wonder. Superb British Saddle Leather set with solid brass fittings, we conceived these belts together in her delightful workshop and at her kitchen table in the middle of the undulating Herefordshire hills.

Emma has her own line of wonderful key-rings, dog collars, leads & more – all of which we swear by.

The Double Loop

  • This narrow belt is designed to wrap around the waist twice. It can be worn tightly or loosely.

    Particularly suited to the Frink, Biffin & Vasey coats.

    The leather strip is 1.5cm wide.

The Wide Wrap

  • This wider belt can be worn tight at the waist, or lower and looser, the wrap front, giving you the flexibility to switch between the two.

    The leather strip is 4.5cm wide.

The Bit Belt

  • Depending on your choice of measurement, this wider belt will either sit tightly on the waist or be worn lower on the stomach.

    The leather strip is 5 cm wide.

The Adjustable Bit Belt

  • This adjustable version of the Bit Belt allows you to adjust the size of the belt by 15cm in five 3cm increments.
