Cocoon Coats

Our Cocoon Coats can variously be enveloping or sculptural, depending on your choice of textile.

Rounded at the shoulder, nipped in with elegant tucks at the flattering under-bust point and gently curved through the body, it draws in subtly towards the hem. With parallel tucks at the rear, it is one of the most forgiving and flattering of coat shapes that we make, working across all frames and being generous enough to layer over chunky knitwear in the cooler months.

We cut our cocoon coats in two lengths, with a choice of sleeve lengths.

Order it in a drapey fabric - such as our midweight linens, silk matkas and bouclés - and your coat will flow elegantly and wear lightly. In a thick tweed it will envelop you wonderfully – and in a structured brocade it will be sculptural.

Order in our standard sizes, 6 to 20, or have us adapt the fit to your measurements.

Our Cocoon Coats are cut, made and finished by hand in London.

    Hidden hooks can be added at the front to close the coats. Alternatively you can explore our hand made Saddle Leather or self-fabric belts .

    Choose between the mid length Frink Coat, or the calf length Long Frink. Our Cocoon coats can be ordered with full or bracelet-length sleeves.
