Longer Length Cocoon Coat in a mid-weight limited edition wool-based bouclé – easy to wear and co-ordinate.

Fabric

This is a wonderfully warm and elegant coat in our Brown Patterned Linton Tweeds Bouclé. A delightful, springy wool, this is a mid-weight fabric with a wonderful handle and sufficient natural hold to gently maintain the sculptural shape of the coat without exaggeration. An additional bonus – it is wonderfully creaseless!

This coat will wear lightly, transition well from day to night and will match with a host of co-ordinates.

Fabric

Woven in Carlisle, this is a wonderfully elegant limited edition dark coffee-coloured bouclé fabric with an elegant patterning containing hints of gold, orange and green against a coffee-coloured backdrop. A delightful, springy wool-based mix, this is a delightful and incredibly useful mid-weight fabric. An added bonus, it is also almost creaseless!

The Style

Designed for elegance and warmth, the Long Frink retains the sculpted, architectural shape of the Frink which is fantastically versatile, flattering and easy to wear. We have added to its length and lengthened its arms. We have kept a deep internal hem on the cuff so that you can fold it back nicely.

Designed to be worn on the shin, it is superbly comfortable. It has generous raglan sleeves, works for all frames and is particularly accommodating for larger sizes.

The Long Frink gathers loosely under the bust with gentle tucks at both front and back. Hidden pockets nestle at the side seams.

Closures

Closures can be added to the coat. We would suggest either our brass or our leather hooks. In both cases we would attach these discretely on the inside of the coat. We strongly recommend that you sew on the closures yourself so that you can fix them exactly where you would like them. Alternatively you could always return the coat to us for us to do attach them.

Lining & Trim

Lined in Lichen-coloured silk lining with a Dark Brown Satin Trim. – as shown in the final picture, picking up on the flicks of red within the outer pattern.

Outer: 61% Wool, 16% Recycled Wool, 9% Polyurethane, 5% Polyamide, 3% Recycled Polyester, 2% Recycled Polyamide, 2% Acrylic, 2% Recycled Other

Lining: 100% Silk
