The Long Cocoon Coat in Golden Linton Tweeds Boucle

A Longer Length Bouclé Cocoon Coat in the most sumptuous and versatile of mid-weight bouclé fabrics.

Our Long Frink Coat style in what is quite possibly the most special bouclé we have ever got our hands on. A really special limited edition wool-based bouclé from Linton Tweeds. 

Fabric

Worn lightly, this is a superbly elegant fabric with hints of camel, gold and dark brown-blacks. Springy and creaseless, this is mid-weight fabric has a wonderful handle and sufficient natural hold to gently maintain the sculptural shape of the coat without exaggeration. 

This coat will cut across seasons and can be worn everywhere from weddings to races, about town or to get to work.

Shape

Retaining the sculpted, architectural shape of the Frink – which is fantastically versatile, flattering and easy to wear –  the Long Frink is cut longer, with full length sleeves. We have kept a deep internal hem on the cuff so that you can fold it back nicely.

Designed to be worn on the shin, it is superbly comfortable. It has generous raglan sleeves, works for all frames and is particularly accommodating for larger sizes.

The Long Frink gathers loosely under the bust with gentle tucks at both front and back. Hidden pockets nestle at the side seams.

Closures

Closures can be added to the coat. We would suggest either our grass or our leather hooks. In both cases we would attach these discretely on the inside of the coat. We strongly recommend that you sew on the closures yourself so that you can fix them exactly where you would like them. Alternatively you could always return the coat to us for us to do attach them.

Lining & Trim

The coat is lined in Hazel silk lining with a Dark Brown trim.
