The Waisted Dress in Silk Matka

Long Skirted Summer Dress with Three Quarter Length Sleeves 

The Downing Dress is elegant and easy to wear. While it stands on its own beautifully, it is cleverly designed to sit perfectly under our Downing coats.

It is designed to fall to mid-low calf length, just shy of the coat length, and has a waisted, skirted shape. It is fully lined in silk.

The sleeves reach a few inches below the elbow and have a slitted fold back cuff detail.

Darted pleats to front and rear created a superbly flattering shape that is at once elegant and easy to wear.

The Fabric

Silk Matka is a linen-like silk that is light, cool and elegant. The weave is linen-like, but Matka creases far less than linen.

Hugely wearable, the Downing Dress is flattering on shapes.

Lining

Lined in pure silk. We line our Matkas in light coloured silks. You can either email us specifying your choice, or we will be in touch with our suggested recommendation.

This dress is available to order in all our silk matka colours. If it doesn't look like we offer what you are looking for, please get in touch and we will see if we can source you your ideal shade.

Shipment
