Silk Matka is a beautiful, fine silk with a linen-like weave: gossamer-light, and ideal for summer.

It is the one cloth in our range that is not British-woven. We make the exception gladly: it gives us a summer-weight cloth we could not otherwise offer. We source ours from Stockport; it is woven in India.

Matka creases far less than linen and lends itself to light coats and separates. We offer it in a full rainbow of colours — should you not see the shade you want, get in touch and we will happily source it for you.

Choose your colour and, in our London workshop, we will make it up by hand, fully lined in silk.
