Tweed Cocoon Coat - Perfect for Winter Racing
Our Long Frink Coat style in a divine and delicate pattern from Lovat Mill. A wonderful and incredibly useful coat for colder days – smart enough for the races and easy enough to wear every day. As importantly - roomy enough to wear over the thickest of jumpers.
Fabric
This tweed has a small pattern and subtle blue colouring against a mute charcoal. With hints of turquoise and teal it is a joy to look at and will co-ordinate with almost anything.
Woven in Hawick.
The Style
The Long Frink is designed for elegance and warmth. Retaining the sculpted, architectural shape of the Frink – which is fantastically versatile, flattering and easy to wear – we have added to its length and lengthened its arms.
Designed to be worn on the shin, it is superbly comfortable. It has generous raglan sleeves, works for all frames and is particularly accommodating for larger sizes.
The Long Frink gathers loosely under the bust with gentle tucks at both front and back. Hidden pockets nestle at the side seams.
Closures
Closures can be added to the coat. We would suggest either our brass or leather hooks. In both cases we would attach these discretelyl on the inside of the coat. We strongly recommend that you sew on the closures yourself so that you can fix them exactly where you would like them. Alternatively you could always return the coat to us for us to do attach them.
Lining & Trim
We have gone for a Peacock silk lining with a Marron trim – as shown in the second picture. There is a host of possibilities with this tweed's colouring so if you prefer an alternative, either drop us a line (or give us a call).
Shipment
