Our John Coat style made up in a soft and warm fawn-coloured herringbone merino flannel.
The Fabric
Woven in Yorkshire, this is a sumptuous, soft merino flannel making for aa perfect spring weight, indoor or wear-it-at work coat.
The Style
The John is one of the easiest of our coats. Finely executed feminine simplicity, it is incredibly wearable and superbly comfortable.
A trapeze-shaped coat, the John is designed to fall somewhere around the mid thigh, according to taste. It has generous sleeves, a neat box pleat at the shoulders, pockets hidden quietly in the side seams and a generous swing.
The John has bracelet-length sleeves and a simple round collar as standard. Using the menu, you can select full-length sleeves and or a mandarin collar, should you prefer these.
The style is designed to be worn easily and open.
Lining
Our proposed lining is Cobble Silk Trimmed with Dark Brown Satin.
Body Type
Flattering for all shapes and sizes, the John can be lengthened or shortened. Sleeve lengths can be adapted according to taste.
