The John is one of the easiest of our coats. Finely executed simplicity, it is incredibly wearable and superbly comfortable.
A trapeze-shaped coat, the John is designed to fall somewhere around the mid thigh, according to taste. It has generous sleeves, a neat box pleat at the shoulders, pockets hidden quietly in the side seams and a generous swing.
The style is designed to be worn easily and open.
The John has bracelet-length sleeves and a simple round collar. The colour is both bright and subtle – easy to wear with a host of others.

Fabric
Pea Green Silk Matka. Silk Matka is a wonderful linen-like pure silk fabric, extremely well-suited to summer and eveningwear. It scarcely creases, wears like a feather and is hugely versatile, dressing up smartly for weddings as well as it dresses down for the day-to-day.
Lining
The coat is lined in Cameo silk with a Pale Khaki satin trim.
