Fabric

A wonderful brocade in a Lichen, Teal and Black pattern specially woven for EdNerat by Stephen Walters, master weavers in Suffolk. Although it is hugely tempting to work with this fabric forever, we will produce a maximum of eight coats in this magnificent pattern.
 
With a subtle sheen and a fine finish, this fabric has a wonderful soft-silken touch but holds its shape wonderfully and is practically creaseless.
 
A midweight fabric, this is perfect for wearing inside, for warmer spring days and cooler summer days.

The Style

The Ganz is elegant, comfortable and incredibly easy to wear and pair. A trapeze-shaped coat with a very generous swing and an integrated collar, it is designed to fall somewhere around the mid thigh, according to taste. It has generously wide sleeves, rolled shoulders, pockets hidden quietly in the side seams.

The coat has bracelet length sleeves and is designed to be worn easily and open, although it can be closed at the bust area with one of our closures.

Lined in Lichen Silk with a Black Satin trim.
