The Style
The Garnett is one of the easiest of our coats. Finely executed simplicity made up in the best of materials, it is incredibly wearable and superbly comfortable.
A trapeze-shaped coat, the Garnett is designed to fall somewhere around the mid thigh, according to taste. This coat has generous sleeves, neatly tailored shoulders, pockets hidden quietly in the side seams and a generous swing.
The style is designed to be worn easily and open.
The coat has a Mandarin collar, as shown in the photographs.
Fabric
This magnificent silk-mix brocade was specially woven for EdNerat by Stephen Walters, master weavers in Suffolk. With a subtle sheen and a fine finish, the fabric has a wonderful soft-silken touch but holds its shape wonderfully thanks to the quilt patterning, and is practically creaseless.

We have lined the coat in Hazel silk with a Dark Navy Trim.
