The Waisted A-Line Skirt in Silk Matka

The Waisted A-Line Skirt is designed by Elyan for EdNerat.

The skirt has an accentuated waist which is designed to sit high on the waist. The skirt has two flattering angled darts to front and rear and a colour-matched concealed zip at the centre back.

The Waisted A-Line Skirt has a gently weighted hem and is fully lined in silk.

The Fabric

Silk Matka is a linen-like silk that is light, cool and elegant. The weave is linen-like, but Matka creases far less than linen. 

Composition

100% Silk

Body Shape 

The skirt is cut to emphasise the waist. If you prefer a more relaxed fit, we recommend the Simple A-Line skirt.

Lining

Lined in pure silk. We line our Matkas in light coloured silks. You can either email us specifying your choice, or we will be in touch with our suggested recommendation.

Colours

This skirt is available to order in all our silk matka colours. If it doesn't look like we offer what you are looking for, please get in touch and we will see if we can source you your ideal shade.

Coordinating your Skirt

This skirt will work well under all our coat shapes, and with all our blouses. Should you wish to match a skirt with another item in the same silk matka colour, we strongly recommend ordering both items at the same time to ensure there is no mismatch in the dye.

Shipment

We aim to deliver within three weeks of receiving your order. Should you need your skirt more urgently, please drop us a line. We will always try our best!

Sizing

The Waisted A-Line is ordered by waist size. Please note that the sizes listed are the garment sizes; if you have a 72cm waist and order a 72cm skirt .... it will be a snug fit!

Length

Our standard skirt lengths are specified on the sizing chart. 

You are welcome to specify a different length at the time of ordering.
