Fabric
A delicate brown pattern from Lovat Mill. This tweed has a small check and subtle darker brown colouring against a mute oat background.
Cut
The Long Frink is designed for elegance and warmth. Retaining the sculpted, architectural shape of the Frink – which is fantastically versatile, flattering and easy to wear – we have added to its length and lengthened its arms.
Designed to be worn on the shin, it is superbly comfortable. It has generous raglan sleeves, works for all frames and is particularly accommodating for larger sizes.
The Long Frink gathers loosely under the bust with gentle tucks at both front and back. Hidden pockets nestle at the side seams.
Closures
Closures can be added to the coat. We would suggest either our gunmetal or our leather hooks. In both cases we would attach these discretelyl on the inside of the coat. We strongly recommend that you sew on the closures yourself so that you can fix them exactly where you would like them. Alternatively you could always return the coat to us for us to do attach them.
Lining & Trim
We have gone for a Cobble silk lining with a Dark Brown trim – as shown in the final picture.
