14 – The Long Clayton Cape in Golden Brown, Black and Camel Boucle

The Clayton Cape in  in Golden Brown, Black and Camel Boucle in size 14.

With a very simple silhouette and minimal detail, the Clayton Cape is a modern interpretation of the capes of yesterday – elegant, warm and easy to wear, it can be dressed up or down and worn both inside and outside.  

The cape a generous opening at the arm (longer than that shown in the modelled pictures) enabling the wearer to move at ease – to drive, write, type or otherwise while wearing it!

The cape has a Nehru collar and is held closed with a simple but strong hook and eye. 

Fabric

This is quite possibly the most special bouclé we have ever got our hands on. A really special limited edition wool-based bouclé from Linton Tweeds. 

Worn lightly, this is a superbly elegant fabric.  Springy and creaseless, this is mid-weight fabric has a wonderful handle and sufficient natural hold to gently maintain the sculptural shape of the coat without exaggeration. 

Lining & Trim

The cape is lined in Hazel Silk and trimmed with a Dark Brown satin bias. 

Closures

The cape is closed with a simple but strong hook and eye.
