This is an elegant longer length A-Line coat in a stupendous burnt orange wool crepe from Yorkshire. With a magnificent drape and delicate sleeve and shoulder detailing, this coat will take you everywhere

BRETT CUT SIZE 12

A wonderfully supple burnt orange wool crêpe; mid-weight this is both hard-wearing and elegant.  This is a mid to warmer-weight fabric with a wonderful handle and sufficient natural hold to gently maintain the A-Line body shape, the collar and the bell sleeves without exaggeration.

The Style

The Brett style has a gentle A-line body shape with a magnificent swing. It has two slanted pockets to the front and is designed to fall to mid-low calf length.

Neat box pleats sit at the shoulders atop elegant and playful bracelet-length bell cuff sleeves.

Lining

The coat is lined in a Hazel coloured silk and trimmed in Dark Navy satin bias. 

Closures

The Brett is designed to be worn open. The two front panels should meet, but not overlap. Should you wish to add them, our metal and leather closures can be sewn inside the front coat facings to hold the coat invisibly closed. If you would like to add these to our order, please drop us a note.

Collars

The coat has a simple round neck collar, as shown in the final picture. Please note that the modelled version of the coat has a Mandarin collar.

Body Shape

Hugely wearable, this style is particularly flattering on those with curvier figures.
