Green Wool Coat
Our Bell Sleeve A-Line coat style in a wonderfully warm and elegant bottle green wool bouclé. A wonderful springy wool woven by Linton Tweeds in Carlisle.
This is a warmer-weight fabric with a wonderful handle and sufficient natural hold to gently maintain the A-Line body shape, the collar and the bell sleeves without exaggeration. An additional bonus – it is wonderfully creaseless!
The Style
Our Bell Sleeve A-Line style has a gentle A-line body shape with a magnificent swing. It has two slanted pockets to the front and is designed to fall to mid-low calf length.
Neat box pleats sit at the shoulders atop full length bell cuff sleeves.
Cut & Body Shape
Hugely elegant, this style is flattering and easy to wear – as good at the races or a wedding as it is for work.
For the smaller-busted Column, Apple and Pear shapes we recommend The Delany cut. For those with curvier figures, we recommend the Brett cut. Please select your chosen cut from the menu.
Collars
The Coat can be ordered with a Round Neck, a Mandarin Collar or a Nehru collar (as shown in the photographs. Please select your choice from the menu.
Sleeves
This Bell Sleeve Coat comes with full length sleeves as standard. You are welcome to order a bespoke length – to do so, please get in touch by email at the time of ordering.
Lining
The coat is lined in Jade silk with an Old Gold satin trim.
Closures
The Bell Sleeve Coat style is designed to be worn open. The two front panels should meet, but not overlap. Should you wish to add them, our metal and leather closures can be sewn inside the front coat facings to hold the coat invisibly closed. If you would like to add these to our order, please drop us a note.
Shipment
We expect to ship within three weeks of receiving your order. We ship on a Next Day Basis with a Signed for Service.
