The Nicholson Coat in a dark scarlet coloured sumptuous pure merino wool fabric by AW Hainsworth.
The Nicholson coat is an easy to wear column shape that falls straight down from the shoulder and is worn open. The coat has generously wide bracelet-length sleeves and subtle gathers at the shoulder headers. Jetted pockets sit at a subtly slanted angle at the front. The style is an open one and can be worn inside or outside. The coat is styled to be worn on the calf.
A warmer weight textile, this fabric is a deep red. It has a magnificent drape and rich colouring.
The colour is shown second from the top in the final picture, amongst AW Hainsworths other reds and oranges.
Lining & Trim
The coat is lined in a bright navy silk and edged in a bright ochre trim.
