The Eardley Coat in Boucle
The Eerley is one of the most shaped and tailored of our coats. It has neat pleats at the shoulders and a structure that mirrors the traditional hourglass shape.
Generous full length sleeves are slitted at the wrist and have deep internal hems, allowing the wearer to fold-back the cuff elegantly. It has two hidden seam pockets and is designed to be worn low on the calf.
While designed to be worn open, the two front panels of the coat should be able to meet without either straining at the rear or overlapping at the front; the two front edges can be held together to keep the coat closed with any of our closures.
Body Type
Flattering for all sizes, this coat is designed with the curvier frame in mind. For the straighter frame we recommend the Fedden which we offer in the same fabrics.
Customising the Eardley
You can opt to have the Eardley taken in or let out at the bust and shoulders. It can also be cut to a longer or shorter length, and its sleeves lengthened or shortened. You can add any of our closures to this coat and or add a Nehru collar to the coat.
