The Brett Coat in Brocade
 
The Brett coat in our Ottoman Stripe Brocade in the Light Honey colourway. Like all our brocades, this is woven specially for us by master weavers, Stephen Walters in Suffolk. 
 
The Brett coat has a box pleats at the shoulders, bell cuff sleeves and can be ordered with or without a mandarin collar. This particular fabric has a wonderful structure to it which gives a superb natural hold to the A-Line body shape, the collar and the bell sleeves. A dream to wear and pack, this fabric will last for years.
 
A gentle A-line body shape gives a magnificent swing. Hugely wearable, the Brett is particularly flattering on the fuller-busted Apple and Pear shapes.
 
The Brett has two slanted pockets to the front, generous shorter length sleeves and is designed to fall to mid-low calf length.
 
The Brett is designed to be worn open. The two front panels should meet, but not overlap.
 
Body Shape
 
Hugely wearable, this style is particularly flattering on the fuller-busted and curvier Apple and Pear shapes. For those with straighter figures, we recommend the Delany coat which we offer in the same fabric.
 
Collars
 
The Brett Coat can be ordered with No Collar, a Mandarin Collar or a Nehru Collar.
 
Linings
 
We have suggested a lining and trim for this fabric, but you are free to chose others from our house selection. If you would like to plump for an alternative, please note this at checkout, specifying which you would prefer.
 
Shipment
 
If we are making to a standard size with bespoke adjustments, we aim to ship within 14 days. If you need yours more urgently, drop us an email and we will do our best!
