The Boyce Coat in Wool
The Boyce coat is fantastically flattering and easy to wear. It is designed to fall to the calf, has roomy bracelet length sleeves, neatly tailored shoulders and a generous swing.
Generous at the bust area, this coat is specifically cut so that the better endowed don't need to leap up in size to accommodate their bosoms.
Two small seams accentuate a flattering waisted shape at the back, while jetted pockets sit at a subtly slanted angle at the front.
The design can be worn open or closed. When closed, the two front panels of the coat should be able to meet without either straining at the rear or overlapping at the front; they can be held together to keep the coat closed with any of our closures.
Body Type
The Boyce works well on curvier frames with more generous busts – for those with straighter shapes we recommend the Carrington Coat.
Customising the Boyce
The Boyce has a simple round neck, but can be ordered with a Mandarin, Low Mandarin or Nehru Collar.
You can opt to have the pattern taken in or let out at the shoulders, cut to a longer or shorter length, and to lengthen or shorten its sleeves.
You can add any of our closures to the Boyce Coat.

We have suggested a lining and trim to match each fabric. You are free to chose others from our house selection. If you would like to plump for an alternative, please note this at checkout, specifying which you would prefer.
Shipment
If we are making to a standard size with bespoke adjustments, we aim to ship within 14 days. If you need yours more urgently, drop us an email and we will do our best!
