The Biffin Coat in Boucle
All our bouclés come from Linton Tweeds in Carlisle - original makers of Chanel's tweeds.
The Biffin is one of the most shaped and tailored of our coats. It has neatly tailored shoulders and a structure that mirrors the traditional hourglass shape. Flattering for all sizes, this coat is designed with the broader, athletic frame in mind.
Full length sleeves are slitted at the wrist and have deep internal hems to allow a fold-back cuff. The coat has two hidden seam pockets and is designed to be worn low on the calf.
When closed, the two front panels of the coat should be able to meet without either straining at the rear or overlapping at the front; they can be held together to keep the coat closed with any of our closures.
The Biffin works well on all frames and is hugely flattering.

Linings
We have suggested a lining and trim to match each fabric. You are free to chose others from our house selection. If you would like to plump for an alternative, please note this at checkout, specifying which you would prefer.
Shipment
If we are making to a standard size with bespoke adjustments, we aim to ship within 14 days. If you need yours more urgently, drop us an email and we will do our best!
For fully bespoke coats we can best advise on timing when discussing your ideas with you.
