The Brett Coat in Charcoal Herringbone
 
The Brett in a superbly soft Lambswool-Cashmere mix cloth with a charcoal herringbone pattern giving the slightest hint of blue.
 
The Brett coat has a box pleats at the shoulders, bell cuff sleeves and, can be ordered with a High Mandarin collar (as shown), a Nehru collar, or no collar (as illustrated in the style diagram).
 
This is a mid-weight fabric with a wonderful handle and sufficient natural hold to gently maintain the A-Line body shape, the collar and the bell sleeves without exaggeration.
 
The Brett style has a gentle A-line body shape with a magnificent swing. Hugely wearable, the style is particularly flattering on the fuller-busted and those with curvier figures. (For straighter shapes, we recommend the Delany Coat which we offer in the same fabric).
 
The Brett has two slanted pockets to the front. This winter version has generously wide longer length sleeves and is designed to fall to mid-low calf length.
 
The Brett is designed to be worn open. The two front panels should meet, but not overlap.
 
Linings
 
The coat is lined in a pewter silk and trimmed in antique blue satin.
